This is Our Story -
We go through life, sometimes wondering if there really is a God.
My wife and I very seldom thought about things like this. Being very
strong willed parents, raising two teenagers, one boy and one girl .
We often thought we were the only ones going through things with our
kids. Then one day, one of my kids got involved with gangs and
finally the occult. You start to question the way you brought them
up, and wished you would have done this or that. Today, kids spend
more time with their friends, which is where the influence comes
from. We as parents love our kids, unconditionally. You get to a
point you just don't know what to do. Fortunately, I have a mother,
who never gave up on her kids, and was a prayer warrior. When it
comes to the occult, there was only one person who could handle the
situation. That was God.
We sometimes think we would never be forgiven for the things we have
done in our lives, but God is a Loving God. We did not chose him, but
he chose us. Since we gave our hearts and lives to the Lord that
Spring Sunday in 1996, He has proven Himself over and over.
We suffer many tragedies all of our lives, and wonder why things
happen. This happens to Believers as well as Non-Believers.
In 1997, we had 3 deaths in our family, on my wife's side.
It must be understood, that my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.
She was cured from this potential tragedy through Prayer, 3 weeks
prior to her mother getting very ill.
Our prayers were for healing for my wife's mother. She had battled
cancer 5 years prior to this incident. She had been clean since that
time. Now it had entered her whole body. It is times like this, that you
would not want any of your loved ones to experience Hell. It is moments
like this, you cannot gamble if there is or is not a Hell. Her mother
never attended Church. As kids, they did not go either. You might even
say that she was very prejudice. When we visited for 2 weeks, during her
illness, she knew she was going to die. The Sheriff's Department Pastor,
did pray with her and she did ask the Lord for forgiveness of her sins
and that she believed Jesus died on the Cross for our sins. My wife and I
just prayed everyday, that she would know that she knows. We knew that it
was not in the cards, for
her to be healed.
We went home and one week later she passed away on Good Friday. We
were told that two nights before she passed away, she woke up
suddenly, and saw a black nurse and pulled out her gun. The nurse
left and they sent a different nurse. The night before she passed
away, she awakened again. This time she sat up on the bed and asked
the four children of hers (young adults now), who were there, if they
smelled the smoke? She asked if they could see the fire?
It was at that time, the new Black Nurse said, we need to pray.
After they prayed, she sat back and started singing bring me home Sweet
Jesus. You see, God in all his mercy, showed her that there really was a
Hell and a Heaven. You see, at least one time in all of our
lives, we will here this Good Word. We can accept it or reject it.
This time, she asked the Lord to come into her heart, from her heart
and not her head. We are very Thankful that God did answer our
prayers, and showed her the Truth.
3 weeks before Thanksgiving, my wife's 41 year old sister passed away
suddenly and one week later her real Father died. I do not know how
anyone could possibly carry this much pain on their shoulders. We
Thank God everyday, for being with us during these trying times. It
makes life so much better and joyful to have Him walking with us day
by day. It is like that picture of foot prints in the sands. The
person asking God, why in the most difficult times in my life, there
are only one set of foot prints. My Child, these were the times that
I carried you, at your weakest moments.
Our prayers are for people not to have to go through these trials
alone. They must know that God is there to help them during all of
their problems. This is now a personal relationship now. He is our
strength, when we fall. That is why he sent His Son, Jesus, to die on
the Cross for each one of us. Jesus is the only way, He is the Truth
and the Light. He must have Loved us a lot, to send His only Son to
die on the Cross for us. We now learn to Trust in the Lord and just
give our problems to Him, and He takes care of everything in His Own
Timing. The trials and problems we go through are preparing us to
help others going through the same struggles. We do not always
understand, but that is where Faith is important.
As for my daughter, she has nothing to do with the occult anymore.
This was a problem society or ourselves have a difficult time with.
It was giving our daughter over to the Lord, and He has taken care of
the situation. She is back to the sweet, loving daughter we knew was
under all the hatred.
If you would like to know more or discuss your situation, please
email me.
Our prayers are that you will turn to the Lord in your hour of need.
You just talk to Him, like you would your best friend. He is an
Awesome God, and He will restore Joy into your life.
